Service Description

Classes will meet LIVE via ZOOM or in-person at 6:45 pm PST every other Wednesday in April & May, starting on April 10th. Each class will include optional "homework" that you are encouraged to submit during the week between classes for feedback or just for fun. The live classes will be recorded with recordings sent out shortly after and will be available for 14 days. If you don't receive the recording within 24 hours, please reach out! Sometimes I need a nudge to remember to upload them!! If you wish to attend in-person, please email mindfulbellydance@gmail.com for details. In this 60 min. dance class we will explore Datura Styleâ„¢ bellydance through drills, combos, vocabulary and improv to develop and improve technique and connect with each other. I invite you to come dance and explore some of the amazing things your body is capable of in this body affirming safe space. This class is for those who are comfortable with fundamental bellydance isolations and layering and are looking to explore more complex combos and vocabulary. Benefits: - Learn belly dance techniques while exploring how the movements feel in your unique and ever changing body. - Increase balance & coordination. - Improve brain function and boost memory through stimulating movement. - Learn dance musicality. - Learn how to care for your body before and after dance
