Service Description

With longer nights, our bodies tend to enjoy quiet restorative practices. In this class, we will use a combination of yoga, Pilates, strength and rehabilitative exercise for a gentle movement flow. We will be encouraging our muscles and minds to relax in order to create space for recovery and presence during this dark season. Benefits: - Gentle movement to help joint and muscles relax and stretch. - Deepen your connection with you body through body affirming movements. - Reset your body and mind from a day of activity and prepare for sleep. This class includes a mix of yoga, Pilates, fitness, rehabilitative and flexibility exercises and is accessible to all levels of movers. This class is taught live via Zoom (you will receive the link via email when you register). All registered participants will also receive a link to the recording of the class within 24-48 hours of its completion. The link will be available for 1 week. Suggested props: cup of tea comfy clothes or PJs a warm cuddly blanket yoga bolster (or rolled up blankets or yoga mat) yoga blocks (or books, cans, furniture you can use for support) yoga strap (or robe belt/scarf) hand weights (or water bottles/canned food) resistance bands (optional)
